Commissioned Services
Commission us for a weekly outreach play and development service.
Sessions are usually 2 hours, held at a regular venue often on or near a housing estate and usually under contract from a local authority or Children’s Centre. The aim of the service is to reach families on your behalf with information about relevant services.
This service can also be tailored to provide a ‘ready for school’ element where part of the stated purpose is to introduce and familiarise isolated children to elements of structure that they will encounter when they start school at 5, such as story time, circle time, sharing fruit etc.
Feedback from existing commissioning agents suggests that we can play a very useful role where families from a particular area or estate are not accessing existing Children’s Centre provision for a range of reasons. Registration forms and information gathered including surveys can be designed to suit the requirements of the commissioning agent.
